
About the Role
POSITION SUMMARY
The Concierge Transportation Specialist is responsible for safe, timely, and professional transportation of passengers and operational items (luggage, supplies, tools, and equipment) between parking areas, terminals, garages, and other designated locations. This is a customer-facing role that requires a service-first mindset, strong safety habits, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-moving environment. Must be comfortable driving vehicles up to the size of a shuttle bus, is a 24/7/365 position, is located on airport property, and will require airport badging, passing a background check and random drug and alcohol testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transport passengers between parking lots, garages, terminals, and other assigned locations.
Deliver a concierge-level experience by greeting passengers, assisting with directions, and providing courteous, professional support.
Load, secure, and unload luggage, supplies, tools, and equipment as needed.
Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (safety items, cleanliness, visible issues) and report concerns promptly.
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance.
Follow all traffic laws, safety rules, and company procedures at all times.
Communicate clearly with leadership regarding timing, passenger needs, delays, route changes, and incidents.
Support operational runs as needed (moving supplies/tools between locations) while using safe lifting and handling practices.
Must maintain an “on time” schedule and performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid state Driver’s License (required).
Ability to meet company/insurance driving requirements (including acceptable driving record).
Ability to lift, up to 75 lbs. and perform repeated loading/unloading.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to work flexible shifts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1 year experience.
Shuttle, transportation, valet, hospitality, or concierge experience.
Experience working in high-traffic environments (terminals, parking operations, venues, etc.).
Experience assisting passengers with luggage and special requests.
Prior shuttle driving experience is helpful.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors as needed.
Ability to bend, reach, and climb in/out of vehicles repeatedly during a shift.
Must be able to move with a sense of urgency.
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Full-Time and Part-Time (may be scheduled for up to 35 hours.
Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs and weather.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in and around terminals, parking lots/garages, loading zones, and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions.
