Frequently Asked Questions
-
What does an air charter broker do?
An air charter broker sources available aircraft from licensed operators on your behalf. KB Luxury Group is not an airline and does not own or operate aircraft. We find the right aircraft for your route, passenger count, and preferences, then coordinate the full trip including catering, ground transportation, and special requests. All flights are operated by properly licensed direct air carriers.
-
How far in advance should I book a private charter?
For the best aircraft selection and pricing, 2–4 weeks of lead time is ideal. Last-minute charters (24–72 hours) are possible depending on aircraft availability and your route, but options may be more limited. Peak travel periods like holidays and major events book faster, so plan accordingly.
-
Can a group split the cost of a private charter?
Yes. Group charters are one of the most cost-effective ways to fly private. The total charter cost is fixed for the aircraft, so the per-person price drops as your group size increases. For example, a group of 8–10 on a light jet can bring the per-person cost down significantly compared to booking individually. Contact us with your group size and route for a specific estimate.
-
What types of aircraft can you source?
We source across light jets (4–8 passengers, shorter routes), midsize jets (7–9 passengers, coast-to-coast), and heavy jets (10–16 passengers, long-range and international). The right aircraft depends on your passenger count, luggage needs, route distance, and preferences. We present options with context so you can make an informed decision.
-
How does KB Luxury Group vet operators for safety?
We source exclusively from operators who hold the required FAA certifications and licenses. Operator documentation and trip details are reviewed before any booking is confirmed. We match aircraft class to routing, passenger count, and mission requirements. Safety details are available upon request for any charter we coordinate.
-
What is included in the charter coordination?
Our coordination covers aircraft sourcing, operator vetting, routing and airport selection, catering and onboard preferences, ground transportation to and from the airport, multi-leg itinerary planning, special requests, day-of-travel support, and post-trip follow-up. You get a single point of contact for the entire process.
